2007 aveo5 exhaust

Am I going to lose gas mileage if I cut my exhaust off from cat back put a straight pipe on with a glass pack. Looking to gain power but not lose gas mileage.

It will effect your gas mileage if it effects your power. The two are kind of linked when it comes to exhaust mods (though a header will arguably help both).

Overall, your probably won't gain much horsepower at all, and you probably won't loose much mileage either. In either case, IMO its not worth it. Then again, I hate doing exhaust work.

just changing the oem muffler is worth it.

My 09the with the stock exhaust reminded me of my beloved grandma with her oxygen tank- they breathed the same way
