It will effect your gas mileage if it effects your power. The two are kind of linked when it comes to exhaust mods (though a header will arguably help both).

Overall, your probably won't gain much horsepower at all, and you probably won't loose much mileage either. In either case, IMO its not worth it. Then again, I hate doing exhaust work.
