      Aveo Sedan Foglights

Installing Factory Foglights in a 2008 LS Sedan and wondered if someone else has done this in the past? Is there a separate wiring harness for foglights or was this like the Geo Metros most of the wiring was already in place you just need to dig it out. (As an example put in a factory cassette player in a '90 Metro and wanted rear speakers. Needed only to get speakers as wiring was already in place.) If I need a harness is there actually one to buy? GM part number? Or do I make my own with proper connectors for factory foglights? Lots of questions, thanks in advance.

I looked in the Underhood Fuse box of my 2010 LT1, and from what I've seen, it looks like its Pre Wired for Fog Lights.

EDIT: i did some digging around on GM Parts Direct, and you can get the Covers (both the Black inner cover, and the Painted Outer trim) for about $20, but after that, the Prices Skyrocket.

My '08 Sedan has underhood fusebox that looks like it to has provision for fog light relay. However in a very careful study of what I can see of wiring I do not observe any extra "pigtails" for foglights. Hence still looking for if there are reasonable wiring options. Is there something I can extend from underhood to lights for their use? Part numbers and availability, please.

      P. Rabbit: Did you have to buy a foglight kit or was this something you purchased separately as I have installed factory lights just now trying to make them active? So read here that the kit needs to connect to factory bulbs. Any ideas along these lines?

Rabbit: Could you post what kind of connector you used and a part number from O'reilly's or Advance to hook to the original lights. I am having a hard time finding proper connectors. Tried 2005 and they are different, 2006 is different. needs to be two prong narrowly spaced with a small pin in the center between terminals. Thanks in advance.

2005 and 2006 are different than the 09 aveo. I think i used an h11 connector.
