I'm trying to do that right now... did you wire them into that door "beeper"? Cause that's what I'm doing and it seems to work fine till I really start to screw it in. But if the rubber piece isn't screwed in a lot it works perfectly. Door chimes and the LEDs come on. What did you wire it to?

I wired mine to a switch. on and off whenever I want...but that sounds like an awesome idea!
