the aveos body is really thin, and lightweight. thats why many of us have atleast one ding.
but honestly, what is 10 lbs going to get you? its not goin to do much for ur car, which is the big misconception about cf hoods. you shaved 10 lbs-great! now u got a hella lot more work to do to reduce the weight of your car. if you buy it in conjunction with doin a weight redux, then it serves a great purpose, but if ur just buyin it to buy it then it serves no other purpose then looks.

i cant talk to much other than the lil fact i schmucked a deer and it was the cheapest route, otherwise, yea....
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

      yeah true.
if you are just going to buy a cf hood and think you cut you quarter mile time by a sec, your wrong.

pretty much you are going to have to do a bunch of other things for everything to serve a purpose.

dunno, with only an intake exhaust and pulley we never went to have it tested... people laughed when I ran a 15.7 in my 4-banger probe (stock time 17. so we didn't bother taking the Aveo while he was here... he wanted to build more for autocross anyway...

Yeah, it would have been sweet to take it at least once to the drags though

I'm just a donor/designer, not the manufacturer. I'm trying to see if there will be enough orders to even do one for the 1st Gen. Aveo before I suggest jumping to the current 2nd Gens.
