Since it wasn't answered, there are two holes in behind the bowtie on the back hatch. My car is 100% debadged and looks great for it.

2008 Aveo5 SV
I will think of a better signature later.
the tail-light is soooooooooo ugly,,,, (2nd gen)
soooo ugly,,, ugly as f*ck,,,,
the front end is very nice,
I really want to do that with mine. I just seem to forget about it every time that I get near my car. I'm not worried about the other emblems, I just really despise that dang GM emblem on the sides. IMO, it just takes away from the look of the car. Although those back emblems seem to move around too easily for some odd reason, so those might have to go anyways.
here is my debadge, cavalier z24
vinyl under the emblem to cover the 2 holes.
the original rear badge should go here

You know, you just gave me a crazy idea. My dad still has all that emblem work from his Pontiac. I think I want to use the "GT" part right on the back of the clock. Just like this.
Now, all I need to do is change the "L" from the LT to a "G", and I'll have an Aveo5 GT! That should be good for another 300 hp, right? Right!?
I still need to remove those GM fender emblems. I'm still trying to figure out why GM bothered with them in the first place...
300 HP sounds about right!!!
I have seen a lot of those GM badges on their cars lately. Just gotta put their name on em' somewhere I guess.

Depends. If you were to keep the Aveo5 (and as is), then the GT in chrome wouldn't look bad. But, if you are going to remove the Aveo5, then definitely avoid the chrome. That Aveo5 all by itself in chrome looks weird. IDK what color you should go with though... I'm just leaving everything on the back alone, except for the LT, mainly the L if I can find a G in the same size as the rest. If I can't, then I'll just order both the G and the T. Although, I think the GT would look better if it was bigger.
As for the one inside, I just realized that I'll have to change the color, as chrome in direct sunlight on a rather bright day would suck so much when driving. Maybe color match it, or just paint it black, to differentiate from the emblem work and the interior. Like I said, I'll just wait until I do the back first. Only thing is that it's hard for me to motivate myself to do most of the stuff that I want to do. Well, most of it costs at least $100 or more. I guess the freebie/cheap stuff can be done first.
is the rear grill actually a vent or is it a faux vent. I want to add one to my 2004.
That black piece? It's just for looks. No other use for it as far as I know.
I think I've changed my mind about the GT thing, and will instead order a ZR1 style LT1 emblem. Technically, it's suppose to be for a Camaro, but my Aveo is a 1LT (just the one is after the LT instead of before on the emblem). I can even get custom text, which will be AVEO5. And debadge all of the lettering on the back and transfer those onto the back of the clock like I wanted to with the GT emblem. The emblem is a little spendy, but pretty damn cool with tons of options. ZR1 Styled LS1 LS2 LS3 Emblems
It'd look something like this:
