I can't speak for Israel, but when I blacked out my badges and grill (last week), I took off the front bumper and removed both parts of the grill to paint the chrome. For the front badge, I taped it off and carefully painted it. And for the back badge, I removed it by heating up the badge with a hair-dryer and taking a piece of floss and cutting the glue.

To paint them, I used Plasti-dip for a more flat black look.

It has some adhesive on the one side. Just take a hair dryer, like what waggums said, but I've seen people use some fishing line. Keep the hair dryer on it for a few minutes, maybe not even that long, and just use the fishing line to remove the badges. Except I believe that the front chevy emblem is bolted on.

MoneyMike is correct. The front emblem is bolted on - I found that out after taking the front bumper off.

The only reason why I even guessed that in the first place is that my dad took all of his emblems off of his Pontiac, and couldn't get the front emblem off. He quickly learned that it was bolted on. So from that, I figured that all of GM's 2009 (and some older years too) models had the front emblem bolted on. Kinda the same thing with the GM eblem on both sides of every GM car for the last few years.

Damn man! That is freaking awesome! I don't mind that emblem, I just hate that little GM emblem that's on the sides... When I feel like taking care of that, they are going bye bye. All the other emblems on the Aveo, I can live with those ones on it.
