      Fender Pulling/Rolling

Just wondering if it's possible to do fender pulling/rolling on a 2005 Chevrolet Aveo LS because the front bumper and rear bumper are part of the fender. Not one piece. I'm thinking about taking the 1.25" wheel spacers off and I wonder how much tire tread will get covered if I pull the fenders/roll the fenders? Note: I'm pretty sure the tire's sidewall and rim is not illegal sticking out, just the tire tread.

I may need to do this if my new rim/tire combo rubs on hard turns. I thought fender rolling involved rolling or creasing up the small return on the fender around the curve, usually these only need to be rolled from roughly 10-2:00 o clock. Pulling is something to do after u have tried rolling. Due to the extreme nature of ur poke, I would first try to remove spacers, and go from there. I agree fender flares my give a better appearance of trying to be legal

All of those flare kits are universal, so they wont really "fit" any car. How well they fit is how much d**king around you feel like doing to them. I know that rabbit posted a teaser pic or two of his car mocked up with some VW fender flares that looked really good and seemed like they fit, too. It might be worth a search.

This is a picture of the back wheel. For some reason, the front sticks out farther than the rear. It is equal spacers and equal offsets too. From my new wheels, I will be able to run it without the 1.25" spacers so it will go in 1.25". The rear tread will probably be covered but the front might need to have it fender pulled. Has anyone pulled their fenders? How much area do you gain? At least an inch?

the rear has a narrower track width than the front.

i pulled my rears, the bumper "pops" out a bit to match but they will need repainted when you are done. What size rims, tires and offsets are you running?

Here's a video of my Aveo.

I'm running 15x10"s with 1.25" Wheel Spacers. The backspace of the rim is 6". Adding the Wheel Spacer = 4.75" Backspace.

thats about a -8 final offset. on a 10" wheel that means your sticking out about 1.4" more out back than me. the front is where the big problem is, your 2.3" out more than me.. and thats just rim edges, not taking tire choices into account.

In back I would say removing the spacer will let it fit. unless the rim hits inside.

in front, just taking out the spacer will solve a lot as long as the caliper clears. but that extra 1.05 inch might be tough.

the thing about pulling the fenders is you don't "flare" them out. you pull the whole fender along the bumper edge. (sometime requires unbolting the bumper and fender and spacing out the lower fender bolts. this adds clearance and will help match the bumper cover to the fender longer that just a flare.

ive searched multiple set of flares, even bought a few sets, none of them fit right.

the one thing you have going for you is the ride height is still up there.. its hard to be low and wide.

Having seen your car in the train whistle videos, I personally like the wheels to the outside. Don't take this as insult, to me it give a toy look to the car. Now if that is not your intention, I would just remove the spacers.
