      fog lamp bulb size ?

      hi there,,, can anyone please tell me what is the bulb size of the oem fog lamp?


      some say h3 and some say 880 ? 883 ? ???

      Fog lamp is 881. Same plug as 880 but it's 90 degrees.

      never heard of 880,

      ended up went to the dealer and tell him to show it to me,

      yeah, they are "americanized" H series bulbs

      I know that 1st gen is 881. As for 09+ I can't say for sure, but I highly doubt an h3 bulb being used, but I could be wrong.

      i missed the fog part, i was referring to the h4 headlights being called 9003 for the us.

      the 881 bulb looks like the connection on the outside of the 09+ housing, but the go to wires inside the headlight. Didnt open them up to verify what bulbs were in there.

      Rockauto lists the same bulb from 2004-2011. Case closed.
