      Fog Light Wiring

So I am looking at installing some OEM foglights, and now I am trying to figure out how to wire them. I am going to install a relay and have already figured out how I am going to work my trigger circuit. I was wondering though where would be a good place to splice power from so that I get enough power I need, don't draw power from something else, and so that the load is detected so my alternator still engages when needed?? Also if there is any way I can run the wiring into a fuse box for a fuse that would be great to know as well.

      As always
      Thanks in advance
      -Anthony

So I am going to try to run it in the fuse box in the normal fog lamp spots and I have the relay and fuse, I was wondering where you got the plugs to put into the fuse box. I was hoping radioshack would have them but I didn't get a chance to go look today?

Radio shack might have something close enough, but gm parts sell a wiring repair kit. It's expensive.

There is a black like fuse ( Diode fog ) 15A fuse, relay all in the under hood fuse box.

From the left side of the fuse box @ the top third one is the RELAY ( small gray ). The DIODE is the black second one in from the left top row. The 15A fuse for the Fogs is the last one on the top row. You will have to test to see if there is any power going to those plugs. If you have the right fuse box for fogs it will be easier. If you do not have wiring running under those spots there no wire under there to hook it up you will have to put connection there.
I try to up load a wiring system for you.

Seem to be having trouble if you send e-mail addy I will send it to you.

Yeah I saw the spots for the relay and fuse but as I did not have them stock I would have had to put connectors in the box, so instead I just ran my own harness and tried to tuck it the best I could

Ok kool. I hope you used keyed power & two relays. This way if Turn them on forget to trun them off and you take the key out they turn off. And the relays save the switch from burning out melting.

I ran the trigger from an ignition wire going to the DRL Module, through a switch then through a relay. Then the other side of the relay ran from the power of the fuse box and then to the fog lights. They seem to be working fine so far, its weird though i have heard of needing to upgrade fuses for HID's but I am running it off a 10 amp fuse and it hasn't been blown yet.

Well where on the oem in stall. Am I the only one that only takes the inner fenders out goes under the car pop out the fog light delete out caps puts in the oem fog lights. It's a bit tight can be done that way. when want to change the side fender light that can be done if you take out the inner fender you can see it easy.

Just wounder what People did on there in stall take off the whole bumper and the frt part of the inner to do there install.
Or just the inners and work with it.
