      Front End Conversion Question

Hey guys I am about buy a 06 Aveo5 in a few days for a DD and cheap thing to play with and was wondering if the front end of the 2010's and that gen were a direct bolt on. Thanks!

Just to add, I am pretty excited. The Aveo5s look a lot like a VW Golf when lowered, and I have always loved them. The car is very cheap to purchase and that means I can spend more money buying fun goodies for the Aveo!

search the forum, someone did the opposite( I nearly had a heart attack ) I believe JH is correct. I bought my aveo after seeing a European model 3 door, the body lines and front end is way underrated.

how much are you paying for the aveo? i am pretty confident it fits too just curious what would make it cost worthy versus an 09 and up..

Good point, I think our 09+ are better unless u plan on swapping to a Forenza or 1.6/1.8 ECOTEC

you would need fenders, headlights, and a new bumper, and i cant guarantee it would line up, due to the simple fact that the shape is way different. and headlights run ~300 each side, bumper is 270 unpainted and the fenders are ~60 each unpainted. not cost worthy IMO

you would also need the hood, 4 grill pieces, the absorber, the tow hook covers, fender vents, hardware, maybe the splash shields.

you'd be best of buying a front clip.

I an not sure if the shape is that different, i had mine pretty far apart. If anything the rad support is only $150, that is probably the only change if there is a structure change.
