I had my first headlight burn out today. I want to get some bright bulbs (white bulbs you generally see on moded cars) What type of bulbs do Aveos need?

-The Chevy Aveo is a Very Underrated Automobile.-
bi/xenon H4 HIDs with slim ballasts (optional, but makes for an easier install)... 6000K color temperature is the most common one. Best light output IMO without looking too plain (i.e. 4300K color of the stock HIDs that most of Caddy's use)

As to what he said but honestly don't waste your money in buying a bixenon HID bulbs, just get regular one that has the low beam of course and as for the color the most usable one is getting the 6K.
^^^^^wat they said
HIDS 6000k is nice. no need for the highs to be hid since they are bright already.
arent the high and low beams the same bulb one your first gen cars?
that would be the reason for bi xenon so that you have a hi and low beam (or appear to for inspection)
Well of course if you live in a state where they make inspection then you will have to get hi/low bulbs otherwise just get a regular one. Luckily here in Florida we don't have such inspection to worry about.
I want to move back to Florida. NY vehicle inspection is a ripoff. Depending on if the inspector wants to make money or not, they could fail the car for just about anything under the safety inspection if they really wanted to.
E-Teeecchhhhhhh!!!!!
That sucks at least the good thing about Florida we don't have such inspections.
amen, and hopefully there will never be [-o<
Bixenon kit (or even replacement set with a wiring harness and relay) is only 10-15 bucks more... And it's nice to keep your high beam capability if not for the inspection, then for being able to flash your highs back at people who keep flashing theirs at you thinking you're rolling around with just high beams on.
And yes, rabbit is right, it is a single bulb for both low and high beams...
Plus it doesn't hurt to have a relay in your system.
