      i dont know if im fellin those vents, but i did see a how to on the 240 forums for a diffrent style vented hood. if i could talk the old lady into it, i will do it then post pics

      I've been thinking about making my own vents for a while now. I'm probably going to wait until I get around to making my own CF hood though.

      What stops water? I didn't see a filter, but then again I didnt read the whole thing. Still at work

      Nothing stops the water. The posts that follow mention that the water hits a manifold cover and turns into steam. Aparently his manifold is well protected and he's not worried about it cracking.

      it would be better if it was a scoop and worked with the cold air intake. i was thinking of doing that but i want to use a doner hood just incase i screw it up.
