how to NOT have the rice look

lots of people ask what is rice, even myself sometimes, but here is one way to know if you are getting ricey.

If you have questions about what is ricey, look at this first then ask if your question is not answered.

ah yes... the ricer scale.

1 ricer = 3 vin diesel

1 vin diesel = 2 paul walker

4 paul walker = 1hp

I agree the wing is pretty extreme, the chevy emblem on the rear window...WTF? and the graphics should have been laid out a little better.

the best ive seen are on aveoikes car, they look flat out amazing on it.

AMEN, Ike's car was kickin' too bad he sold it.

I contacted him and asked if he'd mind if I did something similar. Got some ideas kicking around, but not sure yet.

naw man your car is super straight with the spoiler, unlike most others, which are just off the autozone shelf and put on real crappy.

Those pics are of the dry fit that I did. There was a lot of trim work on both the front and rear bumper as well as the skirts. I chose to cut the bumper (cant even tell) instead of the bumper bar in the front. The wheels rubbed when i took corners or put people in the back kinda funny. So I had to trim up the wheel wells in the rear and arround the fule sending unit thing in the rear. Minor triming on the skirts. the front feners sucked and my body man said it would be eisier for him to make L3's out of the factories. He is doing the and a hell of a lot more and the whole car is getting painted including the mirrior mounts and the cowl!

So what would you consider my car.....

kill007, I still think that wing looks funny, but I have never liked them on any car. The kit should look nice once you clear up some of the gaps and get some paint on it.

aveosummit, the spider and webs look neat but I can not get over the hood scoop. :sad1:

Ditto that. Looks like a nose or something. Just my opinion though. The rest looks nice.

i dont really think the scoop goes either, now if it were functional, thatd be a different story...

I have the same scoop on my aveo and all I get are compliments about it. I also have stripes down the side.... Its whatever you like.

Think it maybe they buy the kit. then run out of money to paint it. Like they raise enough for the kit then go out buy it and install it, or pay to have it installed. Then realize that they need paint and dont have the money. since they got caught up in the excitement.

Though I have seen a few cars in my area that have gone well over a year with unpainted kits.

i prefer flat black primer or paint top to bottom back to front but thats always been my personal fave
