Can anyone give me some ideas to dress up by 5? I've blacked out emblems, plasti dipped side trim, tinted windows, put stripes on it and cut exhaust and put it out drivers side...my next idea is for moon hupcaps...at least for now..maybe rims later.

you can do the vents on the fender black, bake open your headlights and paint them black also

Yea, I'm looking to do that joey mod thing. it really changes the look. and hid/phantom lamps or set up..however I don't know anything about it..and can't seem to find on here specific references to ones others have used that work out well. I'm worried about melting the housin or buying inferior tech.Quote:

I would never cut springs, especially to get as low as I was. 4" drop on just springs would be an lolbadtime. Coilovers man

Coilovers are a spring and shock all together. I went with raceland/rokkor brand

Never crossed my mind honestly, I get your reasoning behind it as it would tie all the black together in the window section of the side. I had my roof dipped black but peeled it off. I'm gonna buy new headlights and redo them. I destroyed the part thats under the hood. these are by far the cheapest headlights I have ever baked open.Quote:

Tails are blacked...I'm working on the dent..gotta figure out best method with least chance of additional damage. I'll have to look up neo chrome lugs..I don't understand what you mean about the black chrome wheels with polished lip. I wouldn't even know how to go about fabricating that. I was considering getting chrome moon hub caps and plastidipping them black.

oh and figure out what a bozo exhaust is
you can get rid of the rear wiper also for a cleaner look. Withing 24 hours of owning my Aveo I had already debadged the rear and got rid of the wiper

I like the moon cap idea- I grew up with alot of old school influences. Just an idea rip off the hubcaps n put a quarter inch yellow pinstripe ring around the out side of ur stock rim. Some ppl may scoff at the idea but if done right it would look cool while rolling and its a cheap mod, spend the $ elsewhere.

Yea, the windsheildless hatch looks way better. That got moved to the short list of things to do. Once I figure out how to secure the plug that shows on the exterior...
when you tinted your tails, I assumed you used VHT nightshade, did you clear them? they look dull in this pic. If you did clear them you should buff them with scratchX 2.0 followed by PlastX and then wax
on my list to do is the coilovers, new headlights baked open and painted black with eyelids painted on the outside. plan to add foglights and some black 16in rims. plan on wrapping the roof black along with the rear side glass till it meets the hatch glass. This is just my work car so I'm really not investing much into it

Is that what you have...eyelids? What do you mean wrapping the roof? I plan on getting coilovers and I'd like to bake my headlights open and paint them too. Rustoleum! And, no..I used rustoleum lens tint. I'll probably redo it...but...I'd prefer they look closer to flat black than shiny..think I should still wax them, or does that just help seal after paint dries..I don't know what you mean..did I clear them..nor what scratchx 2.0
I'm gonna vinyl wrap the roof black, if you didn't spray clear coat on the tails after the spray tint, it's just going to fade away back to normal over time.

Moon caps aint cheap, just paint ur stock rims a fresh black n do ur stripe. The $ saved could be spent better
I found them online for between 50 and 80 bucks. That and, I want them...I need them anyway..cause I'm sick of looking at factory hub caps and steelies.id put them on, before I painted..just to see how they look, cause they could look pretty badass.
