Yeah I know love the VVT in her car. But I think I figured it out by working on her sisters mustang actually. It has a fluttering noise and I believe it's the cam position sensors. I didn't remove them to change the belt and shop key says you should remove them after turning the engine 26 degree past TDC cyl 1 compression stroke. Since I didn't have a cam alignment locking tool I just let the cams shift so I think if I pull the sensor all the way out including the synchronizer and put it back in 26 degrees past dtc it'll be okay. That's how I fixed her sisters mustang because it had a squeaking noise I checked the serpentine belt by removing it and it still had the squeak. So I knew it was the cam synchro.
