      joey mod in progress

      just got the headlights taken apart. pretty quick in the ovenName:  IMG299.jpg

      At what temp and how long did you keep it in the oven?
      What paint/primer/sand paper did you use?
      How did you get the shiny finish with the turnsignals?
      Mine looks like a flat black (Even after the clear coat layers)

      i baked em at 250 for 30 minutes, then pried them apart. the turn signals i wet sanded gently then did three coats high gloss clearcoat. inside the headlight i used krylon plastic bonding

      I did it over 2 afternoons, maybe 3 hours? Most time consuming was waiting for the paint to dry. I was nervous after the first coat on the inside of the headlight housing it looked like it wasn't bonding well, but I let it dry then did 3 more and it came out real good

      let me know if you can mod that little spot on the headlight for the blinker. Ive been looking at mine too put dont wanna bust up my headlight bucket lol. I wanna shave my front blinkers.
