I live in NY and I can't seem to find anywhere about what color the clear side markers "need" to be. Obviously amber is what it is supposed to be but can they be led white, or blue?
I'm thinking about white because blue would most likely be illegal.

Are you talking about the turn signals on the side of the car just in front of the doors? Mine have blue LED's and I haven't been harassed yet.

My guess is orange, that's why all side markers are orange, except the rear which obviously are red...I'll ask one of my cop buddies the next time I see one.

they have to illuminate in amber if on the front half of the car, and red if on the back half of the car.
I put blue leds in them about a week ago, they look pretty sweet. I really don't think I'll get bothered for it either.
blue is a police only color according to michigan motor vehicle code. I'm pretty sure also nationwide b/c of police cars.

I think it's just a #194 LED bulb, but I don't know...I don't have those fancy sidemarkers.
it's a 2285 bulb assembly with 7 leds attached to it, it is also equal to T10, W5W, 194 and etc.
same as the license plate lights.
not too worried about being pulled over because it isn't like I drive with signal lights on all the time.
yeah, or if there is a cop, dont use your signal, cops dont care either way lol

Thanks, yeah they are pretty bright. 7 leds in each marker. I put the same two lights in my auxilary headlights too. Adds a nice touch to them with my HIDs.
is it illegal to remove these ugly bubbles?
