well, one thing I will tell you is I don't reccomend minis which are what I have.
To do yourself it'll probably be between $150- $300. Now that number is high but that will guarantee you the best equipment and more then likely you won't have to take apart the projector.
We only paid about $120 for mine, but wiring harness is custom. And I would reccomend using a heat gun, especially for our "forever glue" its a pain, but its so worth it and much safer.
Ok thanks alot!
Hey 702_AveoLT, nice retrofit!! Just curious why don't you like the Morimoto minis? Do you find the output to not be that great?
Also thought I'd share a couple pics of my retrofit too... using OEM Infinity FX35 bi-xenon projectors.
Cutoff shot of a single projector before installing into the headlight housing:

Heat gun>>>>>>>>oven. I learned that the hard way when one of my housing started to sag in the oven
Loveeeeeee Your output and cut off!! & no, i don't like my output, i did before my husband installed the e46 into his Impala, there is just no comparison. They are great to start off with! Small, don't have to cut the housing that much, but i think I'm going to go with the ls460's here real soon (:
I just don't recommend them because now i want to change mine lol plus they have a weak hot spot & poor distance illumination even with the foreground limiter.
omg, we had this avenger and the housing was just never the same lmao plus with the heat gun you mess with just one area at a time and its not a race to pull it apart before it cools down. lol
