      My debadge process....

I just thought I would post some before, during, and after pictures of my Aveo. I was amazed at how little time it took.

      Before:

      After removing the dealer stickers:

After removing the lettering, this was the glue left behind:

      The completed process:

I didn't do a write up for it just because there are already some posted. If you want to know what I used just let me know and I'll write it out.

Looks good, I recently did the same thing - what method did you use to remove the glue? I twisted the lettering off and used 3M adhesive remover and then cleaned the area with a clay bar. Getting the glue off wasn't easy - it was like a 3M foam tape.
      Cheers

I heated it with a hair dryer for close to two minutes and then used some fishing line to separate the letters from the car. The big clumps of glue were just pulled off with my fingers. To get the fine stuff that left the outline I used alcohol on one side of a rag and water on the other. I would rub with the alcohol for a minute and then follow up with the water. It took some elbow grease but it came off. It didn't damage the paint and I already had it sitting around the house! Nothing like a free mod. lol
