need opinions on headlight idea

now i dont have photoshop i just used microsoft paint and did it up quick just to get an idea. please help me by letting me know what ya'll think. thanks!

oh and i will probably use 5% tint to do it.

tint the turns but use 2 layers of vinyl for the eyelids. The light will shine through it when it is lit and look like crap on the headlamps.

where can i get vinyl to do it?

i was leanin more towards the tint tho as i dont know if the vinyl will cut my visibility alot or not. i know the tint will a lil bit but it will at least still let light thru at night where as 2 layers of vinyl will not. or do you guys think that it wouldnt be enough to matter?

It will not be enough to matter. Light in the reflector bowl is aimed down to stay out to people's eyes. If you have light coming up that high, you are blinding them and eyelids would be good for the safety of them. Vinyl you can get at any advanced auto, pep boys, discount auto parts, or o' rileys.

also, a place to get cheap vinyl would be going to a shop that makes vinyl signs and asking for scrap, they usually have decent sized pieces and not small awkward shapes and strips. My friends and I have done it and have gotten quite a bit of vinyl for $5

thanks for the tips! i had another idea what if i used carbon fiber overlays for the headlights? it would go with my cf hood. hhhmmmm it was just a thought, anyways so do u think that my half ass design is ok? or should i reconsider? if anyone wants to help me out and submit their own ideas that would be greatly appreciated as well! thanks again!

For the eyelids I think vinyl would be better... But as far as the turn signals I would heavily suggest Nightshades... Having them covered in vinyl, I think that unless you took them out and applied all around them, the light shining out would look bad...
