i found the problem with my brake/park light problem.... the brake like socket had some lead down in there touching both the contacts in the socket itself... cleaned it out and checked the other side and it was good togo... problem solved...

This is an older post, but thought I'd confirm that its in the same spot in the first gen cars, divers side dash above fuses in the "door jam" area.

under hood splice pack g101 in fuse box white rectangular plug should be a burn spot on plug lift fuse cover and look closest to driver fender splices all park light powers
