      Quality Tail Lamp

      Hello everyone,

Currently I have the stock tail lamps and I noticed that they rattle -a lot-, especially when using my subwoofers.
Does anyone know of quality tail lamps to buy and/or how I can reduce if not eliminate the rattle?

      Thanks.

The entire tail lamp unit itself, I think. Like if you tap either of them they make quite a loud rattle. They're not loose as I checked the screws holding each unit in place. I've yet to actually take a unit out and inspect it. Just checking to see if anyone else has noticed the same rattle before I attempt any dismantling.

if you want to find rattles, turn up radio until rattle is evident and then apply pressure with you hand to feel what is vibrating.

license plates, trunk lids "historically" rattle the most.

Alright, so I just removed one of the tail lamps. While holding it in one hand and slightly pounding it with the other it makes a lot of rattle noise. So it would be safe to assume that the stock tail lamps for this vehicle weren't made that well.

So then, looking at aftermarket tail lamps I've landed between these two:

Anzo LED Tail Lights, Anzo USA LED Brake Tail Lights
Spec D Tail Lights - Spec D Tuning LED Tail Lights for Cars & Trucks - Videos, Installations & Reviews

Anyone had exp. with either of these? I haven't come across any reviews pertaining to their build quality.

As for the trunk, I've had the entirety of the inside lined with Dynamat and the trunk lid still rattles immensely. You can see the top part of the trunk outside move up and down with the beat of the bass. It's pretty bad, lol. Not sure what more I can do to stop that from happening... though when I lay the back seats down it does slightly decrease.

So I decided to go with the Anzo LED based on its reviews. Will post pics once I have them installed.

      Cheers!
