Question about the wipers position

Hello,

I have a quick and (I hope) painless question: is there a way to lower the wipers position on the windshield, prefferably in the black area of the bottom part of it? There are some screws involved but I remember reading somewhere that the wipers will "automaticaly" return at their predifined position.

It would be really nice if they where a little lower because there's a lot of viewing space wasted...

I know you can lower the one that sticks up kinda funny on the passenger side, but it will be too long and hang over the pillar. I know this because when the idiot that put my new windshield in put my wipers back on he possitioned the passenger side low and hanging out over the pillar. Just a bolt holding them on...

lol that's funny. cuz when they fixed my car after i wrecked they put the wipers too high! so i really couldn't see. but it's fixed now

So basically you just unscrew, move them as low as you want and then screw back?

I usually remove them for summer and just have it in the cargo area in case I get caught in rain.
