i have always loved the stripes down the middle, maybe two thicker pink stripes and two thinner pink stripes, like the stripes in the pic, though the offset stripes would look pretty good too

yeah so well i really do like the offset stripes better as well. but i was out looking more into where the placemnet would be on my veo and i just dont think the offset ones will lay looking right. idk. so im sticking with the 2 pink stripes down the middle. going to get it done tomorrow. . . . . CANT WAIT! also i defintly am into the idea of a thinner pink stripe, but since those windsheild fluid things are on the hood it doesn leave much room for doing things without those getting in the way. im trying to work right in between them.

you just pop the washers out lay the stripe over them (i am assuming vinyl for that price) and then put the washers back in.. dont let them determine where the stripes will go.

offset stripes are supposed to match the drivers side of the car so emergency crew at the race track will know which side to look on when you wreck or are upside down.

I think I would have gone for and offset stripe myself... But looking forward to seeing the results anyway.

I've striped a few of my cars, but only along the sides, VW GTI style.

You should do 2 black stripes with pink pin striping along the edges. That would look hot. I think that would give you 2 different looks. Like at first glance people will think "That's a girly car", but then they'll look at it and think " Damn, that kinda badass actually".

I did my own stiping on my car and for $75.00 you can't go wrong. My only question is it done with paint and clear coat?

Because it cost me $65.00 for the paint alone when I painted my car.

Larsbud - do you have a DIY thread? (Seem to remember seeing one..) I'm curious what paint you used.
