my fog light switch is on the turn signal arm.
the buttom on the drivers door above the card slot is the control for the passenger power side view mirror.
I think Nemasys put his fog swith there??? not sure exactly, but I know someone did.
I remember seeing somewhere that the switch was to the left of the hazard button, but Im not sure if that was stock. I put my switch where your talking about(about slot) and it looks very stock and was a snap to install and run wires.

I have found oem fog lights and a new oem light switch but I haven't seen wiring for fog lights as my car was never equipped with them. How should I go about wiring in some factory fog lights?
Just like this. Autozone should have their parts with their foglights, thats where i got mine. get a wire kit with a rocker and a relay. Both of mine were "pilot" brand. Also, if you arent doing a lighted rocker (which i would seriously recommend so you dont leave youre lights on) then you dont need to ground the switch

i agree with pickles, i used a relayed harness kit i bought and ran my own wires, and got pigtails and such to hook into the oem switch and fog lights.
So you were able to successfully wire the after market harness to the oem switch? Did you connect it to the fuse box? I found the switch I want but I'm just trying to make sure I can do this before I buy it. Here is a link to it. Thanks!

So I finally got all of my parts and began my oem fog light install on my '06 aveo hb. I started by removing the driver side wheel and then the plastic fender well liner. Then I removed half of the screws and bolts holding the bumper on to allow me to reach the plastic covers where the fog lights are going. I did not want to have to remove the entire bumper so this was very tight. But I managed to pull the plastic covers and install the new fogs with very little trouble. I repeated this process on the passenger side. I just started wiring them in with a universal harness and I'm going to run the on/ off cable to the new factory turn/headlight/high beam/ fog switch I bought as I wanted them to appear factory.

This ended up being far easier then I had imagined. The new oem switch with the fogs just had two extra wires that ran to the fog lights. I simply determined which wires were for the turn signals, head lights and high beams and left them intact with the pig tail so that they operated normally. Then I cut the two wires for the fog lights and spliced them to the after market wiring harness. Voila! Illumination.
Looks great im trying to figuer out some what the same issue but im only running one fog lamp. BTW love those projectors
Looks nice , now tint them Jdm Gold
Anyone know where to find the OEM switch that goes beside the hazards?
