Test car needed for Aveo Projector Headlights (Los Angeles)

Hey guys, my name is Jerry and I am the R&D guy over here at Spyder Auto. We specialize in quality aftermarket headlights, tail lights, and lighting accessories. We have these new projector prototypes for 03-06 Aveos and we need to see how well they fit before we put them in production. We will definitely hook you up with some $cash$ for volunteering to allow us to test the fitment of these headlights or your Aveo. the 03-06 sedan and hatchback have the same exact front end, it will fit, i spoke with jerry and im taking my car on wednesday

You mean you are collecting your aveo with the new headlight fitted? Do they modify your existing headlight or they give you a brand new set?

Pls post pictures of the new head lamps.

Simply put, a company made headlights for the aveo but they need a test car to see if they fit and made them correctly, thats where i come in, ill see if i remember to snap some pics

The last picture shows a piece that broke off when we removed the headlight, this was because they were using an actual screw instead of the fastener to attach it to the plastic retainer on the headlight support, but that will be fixed before they go into production. Expect these to be out in about 2 months.

I tried convincing Jerry to get some headers in the works, hopefully he does.

those look even better on the car. i cant wait to order these and get them on mine. did he mention what size bulbs for high/low and turn signal?? so do u get the first set since u volunteered??

also do the 2 upper leds work when wired up??

No he didnt mention, they can use HID's and they have LED's above the main headlamp. They will also be available in a black finish. I wish i could have gotten a pair, but those were the only ones he had and they were one-off's. I still got some cash for doing it tho. :mrgreen:

Yes the LED's are functional, you can see the way they are wired up in some of the photos.

thats not a bad price at all. honestly, it costs around that just to do a projector/hid full conversion. maybe more...

nothing for the 07 sedan only 04-06 sedans and 04-08 hatchbacks

Is it available for order?

Should have him make some clear turn and tail lights for us, all clear tails would be great.

I'd like to see the turn signal removed and space the others farther out to the corner of the car.

So are they production now? I would like to get a pair.

If anyone is still interested in getting these from spyder auto, u may have to see if u can buy them from over seas and get them shipped here. I just got off the phone with them and Jerry (the guy that first posted they made a set) doesn't work there anymore and they're not sure if they are going to produce them or just scrap the idea. If u would like to get these u should call and just see where these are, so they get to thinking hey more then one person is interested in these and put them into production. there number is in the first post by Jerry.
