not currently, thinking about numerous swaps, but i plan on keeping it for the efficiency. I have 3 project cars going right now, and am in the hunt for a truck, and a mustang fastback. But am looking into an rs4..
the swaps i am considering :
1.8 engine only.
the rest will all end up with a 6 speed transmission
1.8
1.4t
VR6
1.8T VW
24v VR6
R32 (fwd)
LNF (almost bought a hhr ss last month but was automatic)
thats probably in order of easiest to hardest.

sounds good rabbit.
the flares look cool and so do the wheels...1.8 liter under the hood will drink lots of fuel though. Mine has a 1.4, k and n air filter and a ricer muffler...and it's pretty fast as is. Doesn't the US model already have the big 1.6 liter engine? All that thing needs is an intake, underdrive pully and a new muffler and it will haul ass.
The flares look really good. I like them black!

My 2.8L vr6 in my mk2 jetta coupe got 28 mpg on the highway. I only get about 30-32 in my aveo now..
Thailand must not be too big of an island, you must run into ocean if you think the 1.6 hauls ass ;)

Lol...yes my aveo hauls ass compared to my last ride, a 4 speed 110 cc Suzuki motorbike ;p. I had the vr6 in my old 96 Passat wagon with manual gear...it was awesome. Anyways, Really cool ride Rabbit

for the cost and simplicity, 160 can be pulled out of the 1.8 which is respectable, too bad cams are a real B**CH to find
