      Trunk Lid Chrome Strip

New to the forum and posted in the Introductions.
Just bought a 2009 Aveo LS and want to replace the chrome piece that runs across the trunk lid. The chrome is bubbling and peeling and it is cracked in two on the right side. I see it also houses the license plate lights. Can't find anything on-line so figured this is a dealer item? Looks like I need to remove the cover off the inside of the trunk to get to it, or does it pop off from the outside? A Chilton manual is on my list to buy.
      Thanks, Jon

Figured it out. Need to pry the plastic pins out from the inside trunk liner, without breaking the heads off.
