      vortex generators....

      will they help out the hatchback's aerodynamics in any way? i knew i shouldve asked this before i ordered some, lol o well it was only 25 bucks...

      I think they may help a little, but probably not as much as on a Subaru All-Wheel drive...oif course.


      I personally like how they look, might integrate them into a custom spoiler one day.

      yeah those.....http://www.vortekz.com/......i saw them in the super street magazine and i thought what the heck i think it will look sweet on my car becuase mine is white and i ordered them black, i cant wait to get them.

      They would probably work better under your front bumper than on the back of the car. If you do put them on the back, they would go on the sides and that might look a little retarded.

      For those who don't know the vortex generators like whats on an evo keep the flow of air attached to the car longer which can reduce drag and improve stability. For example that big ass wing on the STI is where the airflow is on the car. It's easily seen when running on a dirt road or dry lake bed. Vortex Generators would allow the wing to be about an inch or 2 shorter

      is that wat the little spoiler on the roof/backwindow does with the sti? ive seen quite a few with them and it looks pretty sweet

      if i put them under the front bumper theyll come off real fast lol lots of bumps and whatnot

      http://www.autospeed.com did an article on them. There was improvement in some of the cars, but nothing in his honda insight. He then put them under the front bumper and reported there was a very noticeable increase in stability. Hence the front bumper comment. We all know how stable are cars are in the wind.

      our cars arent stable in the wind, lol, i think thats what you meant. but meh i guess ill try and put them under the front bumper when i get them.
