They would probably work better under your front bumper than on the back of the car. If you do put them on the back, they would go on the sides and that might look a little retarded.
For those who don't know the vortex generators like whats on an evo keep the flow of air attached to the car longer which can reduce drag and improve stability. For example that big ass wing on the STI is where the airflow is on the car. It's easily seen when running on a dirt road or dry lake bed. Vortex Generators would allow the wing to be about an inch or 2 shorter
http://www.autospeed.com did an article on them. There was improvement in some of the cars, but nothing in his honda insight. He then put them under the front bumper and reported there was a very noticeable increase in stability. Hence the front bumper comment. We all know how stable are cars are in the wind.
