Wanting 09 aveo 5 AC kit

I got an 09 aveo. It don't have AC installed. The GM dealer said i can order the kit to have it installed but that's 1400$. A lil more than i was hoping to pay. Any tips on getting a bolt on AC kit a bit cheaper?

Also has any one successfully installed a DIY cruse control switch on an 09 2 gen car?

I am working on the cruise with another member now, might buy a switch for myself and try what we were discussing.

thats actually a god price, when i bought my car i was quoted $2500 to add AC, but maybe the sales person just wanted more money into his pocket,

at the dealer the ac kit in 1400$ to get a new car with it i think u just about half to get the lt model which was a bit more
