Can you elaborate on this Rabbit? It seems to not be a very exspensive mod, and if its going to help with aerodynamics, and improve mpg, and make it look cooler... could be worth the money.

most expensive / aerodynamically designed cars have under car cladding to improve drag.

the skid plate would protect your oil pan from bottoming out.

the splitter separates the air above and and below the car early to help remove the air disturbance at the bumper as drag.
a properly designed splitter can also help create some downforce to keep the car from lifting with speed.

i'm not a splitter expert though.

I was thinking you could elaborate on how you think the wheel well should look... Ima do a bunch of reading today and see if i get get the general specs/tips for making one of these.

WOW... seems to be a tremendous amount of discussion about designs and usefulness. I was thinking.... make a cardboard mock-up, then over lay it in a thin layer of fiberglass, then overlay carbon fiber...I wonder what the weigh would look like..

you basically do your best to fill the holes under the car. if you have the height, then make it low enough to need no holes.

but like i said i am not an expert.

the inner wheel wells, to complete seal the engine compartment. not cover the wheels (although that helps too)

if you widen the white to the hood, and carry the blue over to the black to tie it together some more, it wouldnt look bad.

I like it. I like the design. Rabbit has some good suggestions. You could mix blue and black squares together and that will tie the colors together.
