isnt the paint code typically located on the drivers side door tag?

It is always the last item on the big VIN plate near the radiator.

my 08 is in the glove box silver tag, at the bottom of the tag starts with wa or u, 3 or 4 digits then a letter, gm is notorious for moving them around, im a painter trust me i hate trying to find em year after year, they used to be in the trunk
