why isnt anyone running a wet nos klit
if you use a wet kit and keep jets at 60 or 70 hp ,,,maybe 90 hp if ya chng plugs to a coldr plug
      it wont injur a thing
and its lightr and cheapr than any engine swap .i guess i love drag racing too mjuch ,,,i piulled a triple 0 light once

a person could run a purge outta the grille or outta cowl at windshield base and purge a lil in the air wen at a light

but im worried becuase once i change the engine to the astra vxr one im gona be shreding rubber every day LOL.. so tyrs r gna b costin me allooott!
also i dont know too uch about wheels and tyrs..
if i get the wheels balanced and alligned once this has all been fitted ie brk conversion new engine and the big heavy wheels... will i get alot of wobble with the wheels still. becuase i remember with my old 18" chromes the wheels would wobbl loaads at speed... and when id drift the nuts would start coming undone :\
If you do all that, your problem will be twisting CV axles before burning tires and wobbling wheels.

there is no reason a wheel that size should wobble. are you spin balancing it and using hubcentric rings?

if the nuts are coming undone, you do not have enough threads making contact with the wheels installed, you either need different lug nuts, or longer studs.

nos guy.. no one is running nos because you are supposed to build an engine with nos in mind anything else is a risk or compromise, and you only get power at top end for a short shot. you should also have a computer set for nos. or it could be worse if your car does not react appropriately. if you go turbo, or build other areas you you get improvement through the power band and you can build the system to go on a stock block. plus even though nos has a lower install cost, filling the bottle constantly quickly levels the field. If you go turbo with nos you get the best of both world, but you need built and proper management for that.

umm twisting cv axls dont sound too nice... LOLL
ahh as youve probably summed up by now im onlly semi good at making things look okish.. i dont know anything too mechanical, but im better at the electronics side of things..
without sounding too dumb .. how can i avoid twisting my cv axls..

i would run nos, but like petrified.rabbit said cost of re-fillin em wil amount up.. henc the engine conversion and plus if i swap my engine il hav a entiiiire line of bolt on parts available to me specily as im in the uk as well...

just came in doors now from a few hours of working on the car.. first i tryd fender rolling.. BIG NO NO FOR ME.. loll i got anoyd and ended up cuttin the metal so i could bend it more and more for it to stick out more.. didnt work..
luuckkkily i found a proweler wide arch kit frm a corsa i purchased a while back intending to fit it on.. and voillaa i done a bit of it.. and choped a loooadd of the side of the car off too LOL.. the way i see it.. umm less metal lighter car LOL

andd also in the pic u may notice my front fender is bulging out.. abit like the xtreme aveo one..
      EASSSYY CHEAPP FREE MOD...
      ALL I DONEE:
      1. remove fender..
      2. place fenders bottom part on floor and hold top part were it bolds in 2 engine bay..
      3. gently apply more and more pressure causing the fender to bend slightly..
      4. bend the bottom part of the fender which bolts to the botom of the car near the wheel out as much as it needs 2 to bolt back up..
      5. keep applyling pressure till the fender archs out as much as you want it to

I just went with L3 style Versus fenders... they accomplish the same thing. They ran me $75 bucks or so plus painting and all..

Even though I think yours is turning out to be way sicker than mine, man. I like what you're doing to it. And if you get that engine - you'll have the swap of my dreams... except for it's more realistic for you.

Re: TO WIDE ARCH OR NOT TO WIDE ARCH!! heeelllpppp!!!

by the way your bodywork looks great
,as far as nos goes you can run moderate amounts with no engine mods ,,and we all know thats true or these stupid people who run outrageous jet sizes in stock engines couldnt get away with it as long as they do..
60 or 70 hp on command is hard to beat,,here i can get bottles filled for 4 dollars a pound ..and a botlle lasts awhile ..a turbo is wondferful but its not the easiest thing on a motor eitheir ,,its an exhaust driven compressor that literally brings your engine oil to a boil ,
dollar for dollar ypu cant beat the zing nos will give you
its not so much a top end thing but nos is supposd to be activated at w.o.t
      and used occasionally
all im saying is its a fast cheap easy and safe way to get an extra 70 ponies when u need em
i hate to admit it but im 40..i was drag racing wen tuning wasnt cool
and nos was ran on carbs
tuning is so u can squeeze out more hp
u can run 60 shot jets on anything without a mod one or a tuner
for that matter u could run a small shot on a lawn mower motor
sure fancy tuners and hardened cranks etc are great
for big numbers ,,i dont thinkl 60 hp is too shabby
this wonter ill prove it ill hook up a 60 or 70 shot wet kit with a how to for everyone and ill even video me smoking the front tires for ya
i reccently sold my mustang gt ,,(i know im still sobbn over it)
and without a tune i was safely running an 80 hp shot and with my "nitrous tune"
i could run 110 shot safely
      >>with a coldr plug

dont get it wrong i love the idea of a wet nos kit, cos like u said no tunin needed and its on demand, but ironicly i live in London of all places and there isnt that many mod shops the nearest place is nother place called essex or further up north min 70 mile drive... just to refl my nos tank... thats gona be bux forr me as il have a 2ltr thirsty vxr twin turboed as it is...
but i still would like the kit.. with a nice lil purge kit.. few leds near the purges to colour the fog.. OOUUUWWW!!!!!!!!!

If you do go with 2.0L Twin Turbo, I'm not sure you'll need the nos...
