No need for the conversion...the only reason I'd recommend it is it's not fun finding wide wheels with the right offset for your car. Well let me rephrase that, It's nearly impossible to find LIGHT wheels in the right width and offset to fit your car with a widebody.

i mean the stress from supporting 2058lbs going around a corner at 130kph in most cases the tires would slip but with 9 inch wide tires they wont as easily so that stress gets transfered somewhere i just dont know where ive seen studs get sheered off, rims break and suspensions fail im just trying to minimize the chances of this happening

Well from experiance with my car you shouldn't have problems. I know it's not the same car (btw I drive a forenza) but it's built alike.

I'm putting out 30% more whp than stock, and lost about 150#s. The tires I moved from 185mm crap to 215mm 200tread rating azenis street legal competition tires for the track. I've road raced about 10 hours like that, with fully adjustable coil-overs that are WAYYY to stiff, sway bars, and a chassis brace. I also have a freakin huge big brake kit. I've had no problems, or signs of problems with the studs. I just recently doubled my BBKs caliper size, moved up to 235mm 100tread rating full competition tire, added a good 15whp more, and added some more stiffness to the chassis/suspension. I haven't seen the track like this yet, but I've talked to a few people about my setup like this only with twice as much whp (with my turbo going on soon) and they said I'd be fine with ARP bolts, I didn't ask about stock cuz I wanted longer bolts anyways as I'm running spacers. ARP studs are as cheap as $20 for all four wheels so I'd get them if your worried
