I helped tint a buddy's truck a while ago. It wasn't at all as difficult as I anticipated. I'm thinking about doing my car once the weather gets nice.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to avoid tint like this that will turn to purple after? Is there any signs to watch out for? Also, from those that have it done, how does the Aveo look with tinted windows. I have the hatch and I'm looking at getting everything but the front windows and windshield done.
its the type of tint...i believe you want the metallicized tint so it doesnt fade....someone who knows which type chime in

with the static cling tint you still use soapy water to aply it, there is just no adhesive on the tint it self so you can take it off anytime, and put it back on at a later date.

sounds like it would be sumtin that would come off if you tried to roll ur window down. that would be embarassing.
