08 Aveo - no dash lights???

I have a 2008 Aveo sedan and now it has no dash lights.
TO date, I have checked all of the fuses like 3 times,
pulled the fuse box in the engine compartment and checked
all of the fuses, relays, wires and plugs....all looks good.
Last night even went so far as to pull the top of the dash
apart and see if perhaps all of the bulbs in the instrument cluster
went bad at the same time........nope they all look fine. Also pulled
the plastic then metal piece to get under the drivers area of the
dash to look at plugs and move wires to see if I could get lucky
and find a loose connections.......still no luck and no dash lights.

Does anyone have any other ideas or perhaps a wiring diagram??
      Thanks!!!

^^thats the fusebox under the hood.
on the bottom right, theres the white thing,
referred to by the shop as the junction block.
      slightly burnt.
      cause of my problem.
they bypassed it underneath, slipped it back in and all is well. --

that was from a previous thread.
      my dash lights were out,
as well as the nighttime lights in the passenger turn signal housing and tail light.
a few people have had similar problems, mine was in an 05 hatch,
so it could be something completely different.

      thanks for the reply.........
I have found the thread that describes a similar problem in older aveo's.....
However, the fuse box under the hood has been changed and no longer has the problem splicer???
Any other ideas would be appreciated thanks!

the dimmer switch for the dash lights may not be getting a good connection.
or one of the led's backlights in the dash may be out and killing the circuit.
