09 Aveo5 Lock Fell Out.. In.. (how to remove door panel?)

My 2009 Aveo 5 has had the lock fall in on the drivers side.
"Back In The Day" Panel removal was a snap. But, I have no idea how to remove this door panel.
Manual Windows, door locks. The only thing Auto on this car is the transmission.
I would greatly appreciate some step by step instructions. I'm getting older so its not as easy as it used to be.
Thanks in advance for the help.

just about what those threads say, just remove the interior panel to get to what you need, not too hard, just look for all the screws and such, no one has made a guide for it yet though

Yep, those peeps have the same problem, but, I need to know How to get the inside door panel off. Replacing the lock will be simple enough (From my lips to Gods ears) But looking at this door panel there are no screws, no anything I recognize as a way to remove the panel.

FYI, there are a number of different threads about panel removal...

Put "door panel" as a query in the search box and you'll find several.

There are a lot of great instructions up to the 2008 model, the 2009 is completely different and cannot be removed in the same way as the 04-08 Aveo.
Instructions for the 09-10 are escaping me.

the door shell of the 09+ is the same, the only differences are in the appearance of the door panel, and the lack of the plunger lock anti out feature.

First un screw the manual door lock pin. then there are screws along the bottom of the panel, you will need a tool to remove the clip for the manual window crank. BE careful! this clip is like a spring and will shoot off like a bullet, took 30 minutes to find it in the driveway. There is a screw behind the door opener handle and one where you pull the door shut as well if i remember correctly. there are several clips that wil hold the panel on, double check to make sure you have removed all screws. Then pull up and out. The whole panel should come free. Now there will be a thin plastic membrane, it can be peeled back and still be sticky enough to put back when you are done. Take an extendable magnet and fish out the bolt and or lock mechanism. When this happened I thought someone had tried to break into my car, turned out there was only one of two screws installed from the factory. I went to the hardware store and found a matching bolt and re fastened the lock mechanism. That was three years ago. No problems since.
