Had the same problem.. The normal speakers was so terrible that I wanted to blow up my Aveo..

However I bought some JBL/harman speakers for the front and back and simply just replaced with the stock speakers.


It doesnt make your car a rolling club, but it makes the sound more clear and lets you play with a higher volume without destroying the sound.

I'm going to install a sub and amp soon, and will return with results
