      2 gauge or 4 gauge?

i am getting a sub and amp setup that both peak at 1000 watts and was wondering which gauge of wire to go with. is 2 gauge overkill? is 4 gauge gonna burn up?

4 is okay. I am a fan of overkill.

      The bigger the better usually...

Makes sure you use quality 4 gauge and you should be alright.
