My radio has a single plug, if I bought a newer style GM radio with the 2 plug style, could I just splice the wires and the radio work properly?

What radio are you wanting to use? If you got aftermarket you use the Daewoo harness... the GM radio has a ton of other stuff routed through it, but I guess if you could get the wiring down to just the Yellow/Purple/White/Gray/Blue/Red/Green/Black then it could theoretically work. Dunno if all the displays would work though....

I would like to get my hands on a stock radio with MP3, CD changer, and the aux input...the 2006 didn't come with the aux input...
it's not a huge deal, just for convience is all..
If your planning on using a radio from an 07-08 aveo it wont be a problem just plug it into the stock wiring harness. I put my stock radio with the aux input and MP3 into my sisters 06 when I upgraded my 07.
