Took the radio apart and cleaned all the button contacts and aux jack, but no dice. Must be an issue on the main board.
Ill ask the stupid question.. did you set the input option to AUX? I don't use mine, but I though you cycled through to AUX.
I used it on my stock radio head unit, but it was always so muffled sounding compared to the radio I went ahead and bought a upgraded factory unit with CD.
Another stupid question but needs to be asked. Did you plug the device into the the aux jack first before pressing the button?
The owners manual says to push the AUX button with the device connected. I've pressed it with device playing, not playing, just the cable plugged in, and with nothing at all. It also says that if no device is connected, "No Aux Input Device Found" may display. So, it might say this or it might not? Hmm....
typically an aux jack like that has an a switch to indicate that something is attached. I would remove the jack and check it or replace it.

From the picture above you can see the switch.
It looked like it had the standard three tabs soldered into the board. I'd have to find the exact one they used. I guess I'll pull the radio apart again and see if I have continuity with the cable first.
I'm not seeing any switching contacts in any of the schematics for the jacks available online. Just ground, left and right.
Auxiliary port works now, but don't need it because of the bluetooth ;)
