2009 aveo lt xm radio

The car does have onstar yes, it says mp3 on the corner and something else under it that slips my mind at the moment, but there is no xm band on the radio nor does it have the icon anywhere that I'm aware of

according to my Digital copy of my 2010 Owner's manual, the logo underneath the MP3 Logo is the Compact Disc Logo. The XM logo SHOULD Be under that one (if your radio has either the single Disc or 6-Disc Changer) Its on the Opposite side if its just the AM/FM/XM Radio.

yea there is nothing anywhere on the radio that says xm on it. just the mp3 stuff. I am just wondering if the car itself would be compatible if i put an xm ready stereo in it or if i would have to add all that garbage on to it.
