      2009 Pontiac G3 Door Screws

I'm a bit frustrated, the entire manual locking mechanism on my car has fallen into the door and I need in there to fix it. I've got automatic everything, and I've got the clips surrounding the door panel off. I removed the door handle cover and got 2 screws from it. It seems to be hung up by the plastic "cup" around the chrome lever to open the door from the inside. I've pried and pried on that thing but it won't budge. Is there any advice you guys have? Thanks.

It has to be the most stubborn piece, ever. I can pry behind it, but I feel like any more pressure would break something.

are you sure that whole piece doesn't come off with the panel?

(asking, i havent taken my doors apart)

Like when you try to remove the door panel, it pivots around the handle?

The only other suggestion i have, from looking at pictures, is you need to remove the pull handle as well?

I'm positive; something is holding the panel tight to the door and it has to be behind that there black piece. I was really hoping you would have had your panels off. Hopefully someone will chime in, but until then I'll take your advice and see what I can do with the pull handle.

Ratchet, thank you so much. That picture gave me the balls to just go for it. But in reality, the reason why it's so hard to get off is.. There is the clip that the picture shows us, a clip on the extreme left top, left bottom, and another clip on the right bottom. Safe to say that this is the worst part of getting the door off. It revealed a screw that holds the door lever on, which should allow the door to come off. Thanks again!

Do you have the source of where you got this picture? Do you have more pictures for removing the panel? I'm trying to do this and try to fix my lock cylinder.
