2010 Aveo radio issues

Hello I have a 2010 Aveo and I seem to be having problems with the radio. When I turn the radio on none of the buttons or volume dial seem to register on the unit. I can see a display but no sound plays and all I can do is turn it off and on. Is there anyway to fix this or does it seem like the radio is broken?

If it is broken I know on some Chevy vehicles they make it real PITA to change the radio out. If so is it possible to change the radio out with one from a junkyard without having to make a trip to the dealership for them to reprogram it to this specific car?

You may just need to re-enter the Security Code. It should be with the manual.
