I mean they send you e-mails each month telling you about the vehicle's maintenance. I just bought the car in November and onstar is free for the first 6 months. I'm wondering how do I tell the engine oil life after the Onstar expires, or do I just change it every 6000 miles and call it a day?

the light on the dash comes on, same thing, sort of.

i would change it anyhow.
