      6x9's

Has anyone cut holes for a pair of 6x9's in the cargo coverof a hatchback??

I wonder if the cargo area would act as a big sounding box and provide decent quality?

Honestly, I would make a fiberglass deal in the pocket where the 4x6's are now. Or just use 4x6 mids and have a sub back there.

I'm glad you mentioned the 4X6 in the back. It seems that Crutchfield's records do not list 4X6 in the back. I thought I was going nuts. I've replaced mine since, but I need to seal them for the sound is crappy.

6 1/2s fit nice on the rear deck by cuttings holes directly in it and running wire from the 4x6s over to them or adding a 4channel amplifier.
