the aveo dash harness is pretty universal, as is the fuse box. the rear body might be its own. but to add things like power windows or locks would be work, even if you had the plug at the door..

Universal that just plugs in no, but yes the guts from a wrecked aveo door would work. I noticed that my car is completely prewired for power locks, doors, and mirrors in the body for the front doors, just not the back.
Don't forget to look for the relays and controllers that might be hidden under the dash or even the hood. Do your homework before you go to the salvage yard. A lot of cars have a pretty universal wiring kit from what I have seen, they just leave out everything else. If it's an option for your car, you can guess you have the wires for it. Makes finding a replacement harness really easy. (I know, I've done it)

I will think of a better signature later.
Surprisingly mine even came with the relays and even the fuses pre installed for these options.

Yes my 2004 aveo came pre wired in the body, not the doors, for the front doors for power locks, windows, and mirrors. It was not pre wired for the rear doors though, kind of odd but maybe thats a separate plug in harness? The body also already had the fuses and relays. But when I added after market power door locks I didn't use any of the pre included wiring, relays or fuses except the power door lock fuse to supply power to the after market power door lock controller.
That is strange, But I suppose they could have a second harness. The honda I swapped harnesses in had a separate one for the trunk, didn't even have much going off of it. I'm not going to tear into my aveo just to find out though. If someone has their interior out and can get a good look at the wires, post some pics please. I'd like to see them.
On a side note, Someone posted a complete Walk through with pics and pin-outs about the wiring harness in the honda I had, it was an insane amount of work, and one of the greatest write ups I had ever had the pleasure of using. Kind of lame sounding, but it's actually one of the things that inspired me to become an active member in forums and help others out with my own DIY's and experiences.

Going to add power door locks right now..........I will take pics as I progress.

I installed power locks and wired them into my alarm. I wired my hatch as well. I agree, installation is a PITA, and I wouldn't do it again. I see now why installers here charge $75 a door.
