      amplifier help

      Hey guys,

So my amplifier stopped working the other day and I am loosing my mind trying to figure out why it won't turn on anymore. I have checked all of the connections and fuses and they are fine, I have had the same set up for over a year now and it was working fine until now. Ughhh

      Any help would be appreciated!

More info is needed. Is it lighting up? Check the voltage with a multimeter. Ground come loose? Protect mode?

Pickles, the amp does not turn on at all, all the connections are perfectly fine and the fuses are not blown. it was working fine the other day and then it just quit on me.

Have you checked the battery connection with a volt meter?
What amp do you have? some amps just give out some times man, hopefully it's not but it's always a possibility.

Also Check head unit settings. You might've turned the amp off. Also try running a jumper wire between the power and remote turn on wire

Head unit settings are good, tried to jumper it still nothing which leads me to believe it's something wrong with my power wire?! I have also read that fuses can be blown without showing signs of being blown so I am going to try a new fuse first and see what happens, if that dissent work then maybe there is something wrong with my power wire?

Check the voltage. You can get a nice digital multimeter from harbor freight for $5
