I'm going to hook up some subs that I got when I was younger in my 2008 aveo (ls I believe)
Unfortunately, my poor baby Daewoo is made, seemingly, entirely of aluminum, which I can't seem to ground too. Any tips on where to get grounded from my trunk?
oh man there is nothing aluminum about the aveo except the head. What makes you think it's aluminum? And by the way electricity conducts through aluminum too.
Whatever material my entire trunk is made out of won't ground to, even if I scrape the coating oft it and run a screw through it
If you can't get ground on sheet metal, I really don't know what to say.
i grounded my amp at the upper seat mount in the rear of the car. You'll have to pull off the plastic panels behind the seat to get to the bolts, ground it there.
I'll take a peek after work to see if I can ground to the seat mounts
Is it a hatch if so pop the hatch look left pull back the carpeting u have to remove a little screw then where the screw was look down and u will see where the manufacturer had put a ground for the tail lights if it's anything like my 2007
